Terms & Conditions

Using our services:

All medical services are given in good faith, and according to current best practice guidelines.

You must reply honestly when asked for information by our consultant. Alternative Consultancy is not responsible if relevant information is withheld.

Children under 16 years of age will not be seen unless accompanied by a parent, guardian or other responsible person.

The cost of the diagnosis, treatment or course of treatment will always be discussed and agreed with the patient prior to commencement.

Quotes for services may change if the patient's assumed diagnosis turns out to be different from or more complicated than that originally quoted for. This too will be discussed and agreed.

Privacy policy:

Any information you disclose to us will be treated as confidential. EMW Therapy and its Consultant will not disclose any personally identifiable information to any third party except (where applicable) your NHS GP without your express permission.

Appointments:

EMW Therapy offers only pre-booked appointments with our consultant. We may provide home visits, but should you require this facility additional charges may apply.

Appointments for consultations must be pre-booked by telephone +44 759 00 555 00 or by email to contact@emwtherapy.com.

Please note that we may ask you for a deposit when confirming your appointment.

If you do not give us 24 hours notice that you wish to cancel or re-book your appointment, we will retain the deposit or may charge you for the cancellation, since we still need to pay the consultant whose time has been exclusively reserved for you.

If you keep your appointment or re-book with reasonable notice, any deposit will be counted towards your consultation or other fees on the day of your appointment.

Payment of fees:

Payment for services has to be made on the day they are rendered. Payment may be in the form of cash, credit or debit card or bank transfer.

Family members, friends and chaperones:

Patients are welcome to attend with a family member or friend. At your specific request, they may sit in on the consultation.

Preparation for your appointment:

In order for your consultation or treatment to be most effective, please refrain from the following at least 24 hours prior to your appointment: alcohol; coffee; tea; smoking.

On the day of the appointment, it is advised not to wear any cosmetics as these may interfere with the diagnosis or treatment.

If you are receiving any form of conventional medication, please bring it with you.
